Saw drift last night. I thought it was great. It had a real west ozz vibe. Great surfing cool boards. The story was a litle preicable but it had enough going on to make it worth a trip to the flicks. $50.00 for a new board and a wettie. The seventies hey.

a few scenes where your kids may be asking a few questions eg what is hash, what are they boiling up in that teaspoon, plus some swearing. i took my 12 year old daughter and was ok with it.

Laughing to the point of tears with happiness after watching "Drift". Recognizing rocks, trees & beaches from my old backyard not so far away today. Finally I can say something other than "only a surfer knows the feeling"...ok that's going a little too far, but the new Aussie movie, "Drift" is a whole new level of awesome & bound to leave a smile on my dial for the rest of the weekend...hope yours goes well too...cheers

Reminded me a bit of "Windrider" back from the 80's: Nice to play spot the (familiar) location, but the movie was a bit of a yawn.
