suppose it was at one of yr spots on the day u were there. plenty out there for sure, obviously not endangered here.

Looks like there are fishing rods and no doubt burley in the water attracting it.

Always been Sharks up that way. From Mulla/Ocean reef through the deeper water they says brings them in

There was a small maybe 2 meter shark in the water yesterday chasing bait fish. No one bothered. Most said it was a Dolphin but Dolphins don't swim side to side and turn like this thing. I considered going in as i had my kids with me but didn't bother as it moved on as fast as it came in. Then another report this morning. (found out about this one after we got out)..

But sadly its not just sharks that will get ya, a Guy drowned yesterday after getting caught in a rip and drowning Surfers were performing rescues most of the day as its unpatroled and on days like yesterday busy..

Who takes the missus's fish'n? She wouldn't shut up. Would have been hard not to throw her in...
