Anyone tried darkfin webbed gloves or something similar?
I missed the webs trend of the 80s (to busy windsurfing)
Dark fins are latex so don't add weight like neoprene.

Try the Sydney mardi gras website if you are going to wear them

Not tried your specific brand but have surfed and with webs. In fact i wore them the last few times to help with the cold. They are also good at helping build up your arms but i will say after three hours yesterday my shoulders were shot..They work quiet effectively until you start to lose the muscle power to drive them, hope that makes sense

Rod, is it the weight in the gloves or just the force required to use them?
I'm in 2 minds about them... Will I get more waves? Or are they going to reduce time in the water due to fatigue?
The darkfin are latex and as such fit like a second skin, but with webbing (no water absorption in the actual glove, so would be light) no real warm though

Just the force needed to propel them. They will help paddle hard and catch waves but you will fatigue quicker..I think i was also told it transfers the load from your arm to your shoulder, and thats what i want to build a bit more

Weight problems i cant understand..They are nice and warm though

Dunno about that ,,, a guy turns up to our usual lineup I wouldn't be referring to the mardi gras.
And he gets more than his fair share of waves.
Still, I'd just break more shoulder body bits if I wore them I think.
