I've been riding the Cymatic since the start of last winter. Not sure how much R&D has gone into the board but I have to say, there is something very special about this board over and above my other boards. It's very skatey, super fast and turns on a dime, however the board has a very small sweet spot when it comes to the positioning of your front foot. It took me a couple of surf sessions to figure out but when you do, you won't want to surf any other board. When the conditions are great, the cymatic is my go to board. I've tried both the quad and thruster set up, my personal choice is the thruster configuration as i prefer the drive. Oh yes, If there is any onshore wind, I'll leave the Cymatic on the board rack.
Cheers dom , I've had a couple vanguards and an Omni back in the day the tail on the Cymatic looks well different so that was a bit intriguing and also scary i do love the modern planing hulls and nearly pulled the trigger on a Cymatic when they first came out, than bills came up and I forgot about it for a while cheers for your review it sounds how I thought it would go which is I hope a good thing
