and now KERAMIS will become even more like Canguu (if not already!!) full of Brazos, Jap surf schools, agitated locals and stickered aussies who apparently have more rights to getting a wave than you - even though you are deeper, closer to the peak and have waited for your turn


however Im a hypocrite and will continue to travel to Bali and Indonesia and am therefore in a way semi responsible for the hotels appearing on beaches such as Keramis, Canguu, Bingin, Ulus, Impossibles, Dreamland, Balangan etc etc

Canggu last week,its was only a year since my last visit and was shocked to find this,I was told by a sales agent the penthouses are around 2 million plus.

^ With places like these popping up we will be soon priced out of the market for that Bali escape as we knew it.Hotel and Villas are going up everywhere and so are the prices.

I've found the best way to book accom is do it yourself while there,you can still do deals at the front desk.

Whats Keramas like in October?

I think World Juniors on starting early October at Keramas. So busy maybe a way to describe it.

We stayed at nomads surf resort at keramas last October and it was light onshore everyday 3-4ft, the Oakley juniour pro was on at the same time so we surfed chu chu carns (not sure about spelling) further to the left of Keramas.
