The lack of NE'ers this summer has been unusual as have the near constant southerlies. I reckon I've had more onshore/cross shore sessions this summer than good offshore ones. I know you're hanging for some north in it smicko after your dreadful run of road trips. At the very least it gives you some hope for the week which is more than we've had.
Care to make a prediction cyclone guru?
If it hugs the coast, maybe just warm enough to keep it spinning. Mind you that rules out just about everywhere except the northern Capes region as far as suitable winds go.
www.bom.gov.au/oceanography/forecasts/idyoc10.shtml?region=10&forecast=1It might pull down a heap of warm water with it too and fuel itself.
Fingers crossed it grows and gets angry and sits a coupla hunjy off the coast. Swell forecast for Exy is gnarly.
