Not sure if its just vistitors mate, plenty of kooks live locally down that way too!

The camera will be lucky to last a week...

Sorry there are no ATM's nearby, but there is a golf course close by...Ooops

Aargh secret harbour... My fav... Not uncommon to see 200m clean wave faces, then if your quick maybe 0.1sec view of the green room followed by 10sec of inside of washing machine...
Banks great that way all summer

secret joke. place is crap with locals who think they rip cause they can wiggle for 3 seconds on a close out. pass.

EDIT: I just had a horrible thought...Oh ****e.....a cam at the surf club.

Secret h is better than Perth cause it an hour closer to the sou west than perth metro plus don't need a coastal watch cam as xxxxxx keeps posting his secret little left at a rock that looks like a seal

When I saw that bald fella the banks were not bad and I had an allright surf that day, it was just his stupid comments that made the session unfriendly

Last I knew it was a public beach and anyone can go and surf ,swim even boogie board if you like

Secret harbour is going nuts in terms of population growth, so don't worry about crowding - you haven't seen anything yet.

Some stats from the life saving club:

- 2007: 40,000 people visited the beach
- 2011: 75,000 people visited the beach




There are TWO surfschools teaching new crew to surf, each & every day.

This year:
A new development in Golden Bay, adjacent to Secret Harbour will house 5000 additional locals.

Anstey park (north of Secrets) is filling in rapidly.

Baldivis, to the east, is one of the fasting growing populating areas in the south, and is set to have people living all the way up past Mundijong road, on the west side of the freeway.

There will be a new $4 million surf club built over the next 12 months.

Just think Children - 10 years from now these are the good ol days. This year - everywhere - is a little less crowded than next year.

After surfing the place for 25 years I gotta say it has been crowded for a long time,....its definantly not a new thing. Some days the row of 4x4's on the beach would fill it to the point where it was hard to find a stretch of sand way back in the early 90's.

Apologies for the bad vibes from Captain Goodvibes Doggie,....I just get annoyed when people dis the place and then come down and surf it and act like they are at trigg point anyway (not saying you are doing that).

And old baldy has always been a grumpy bugger but he is actually ok normally I think. Just tell him to smile next time you see him.

Can you still get on the beach? I haven't surfed their for fifteen plus years and the way I use to get there is now a suburb.
