Saw one in the shop and was almost full mast over it. Anyone ridden one?

Sick board by all accounts. Will be picking up either one of those or a cobbler from SDR, plus one of his HPSB. Great boards!

This is my next board. Have seen a few crew on them and every single bloke loves them. I can't wait to get some coin together to buy my one.

And Nick Carroll is a pretty tough judge to please. Not as hard as the kook who gave you a red thumb though.

I reckon SDR is one guy who knows what he is talking about when it comes to board design.

If you like the look of the Monkey Chop, have a look at another design called a "Cobbler". I think they are a little more user friendly than the MC which has the wide point a little more forward. My son has one and loves it (until some old guy on a longboard going over the falls half destroyed it at LM).

Had a Cobbler last year and was great for small head high beach breaks. Worked well for me in sucky and fat conditions.

What's the go with sizing of these? Bit like the blak box and go 4 inches shorter or something?

Probably best to speak to Steve he loves a chat about boards. Check the facebook page and you can keep up to date with when he's back in Perth/SH.

The monkey chop is popular but I'm thinking a cobbler might be a better allrounder. Not sure yet though.

According to clearwaters fb steve is in perth atm, he was i the shop today i think to discuss boards ect.
