Close to 15 years ago we camped on the beach South Coast NSW - south of Batemans bay... It was a good surf spot as well. I can't remember the name of it though nor how to get there. Do you guys know of a spot where you can camp on the beach in NSW?

Are you referring to spots that you are allowed to camp on the beach or spots that are remote enough that you can get away with it?

Probably the place that you feel like you are at the beach and legally can get away with it these days is at Treachery - they also let you have an open fire. There are lots of other spots that you can get away with but for obvious reasons I shall not mention them here. Seek and you shall find. Remember to tidy up after yourself and smile nicely if/when the Rangers come. If you arrive after dark and clean up early then life should be all good unless you make a nuisance of yourself. Don't stay in the same place for too long though

Just paint the word "WICKED" on the side of your car/van, then you can camp wherever you want........apparently

Thanks for all the info. Somewhere remote on the beach would be ideal ... I'll keep searching.

Thanks again.
