Hi all.
Doing my first Ments trip next Aug and looking for an allrounder for 2 to 6 foot.
Intermediate surfer 175cm / 74kg (42 YO but fairly surf fit) , and looking at either :
Lost Mini Driver 5 tenish OR
FMN rounded pin 6 foot
I already have a 5' 11 Revo for mush but want a step up with two sets of fins for everything else.
Any thoughts or advice??

I too am interested in the lost minidrivers as a go to when the waves get good at the local or an overseas trips. Good thing Bullsta is the same height and weight as me so hoping this thread starts pumping. Why 5'10 for the mini driver Bullsta? Was told it'd be better to have a bit of extra length with bigger waves no?

Forgive me as I have been surfing short and stubby hypto krypto type boards (shamedly following trends ) for the past few years so have not jumped on a proper short board in a while.

Cheers all.

FMN 6'0 is approx 25.5 litres

Your 5'11 Revolution is 30.5 litres.

That is a huge difference in volume. If the 5'11 is your regular board, I would be looking at 6'2 - 6'4 FMN as a step up.

Had a 5'10" mini driver in the up there a few weeks ago, wanted a step-up from my 5'9" rocket, was a really fun board but the stock ones seem to have fairly chunky rails.

Rode a friends 6'2" Merrick semi pro 12, felt heaps better on the bottom turn.

Will be taking a 6'1" Merrick semi pro, DHD Sweet Spot or JS Forget me not roundtail for next year.
