This morning I got up early and went down to Bells Beach for a look at this big swell that is hitting our shorelines.
I took my girls along too so they could see it (and hopefully appreciate it) as it was monsterous and doesn't happen often.
The car parks were full of observers but there was only a few out actually surfing (probably 6 -8 people out there).
There were 3 jetski's out the back aswell, doing tow in surfing. It was good to watch.
The attached photo's don't do it justice for how big and powerful the waves actually were but hopefully you can get the picture.
If you look closely you will see someone out there. That will give you an indication of size. This particular pic was taken at Winki
