No body wins.

Dumb thing to do on a shoulder high wave as there was no danger.

fighting over waves, Faarrk there will always be another one right behind the first or second or a couple of minute later, funny the frustration of metro surfers tho, can understand the frustration when you dont get to surf alot. still no need to slug it out.

I surfed the left once - once! Even though the atmosphere is friendly, I could not cope with having three or more guys take off on the inside of me and just sit there milking the shoulder through to the shore break...

I counted 7 on one wave once... granted it was a fat mush-burger, but still, that's a lot of fibreglass coming at you when you are paddling out.

Yea it was, the guy doing the punching on was a crap surfer with little style and the bloke he was hitting sat on him the rest of the time anyway.

About 15 on a wave there this morning. One guy talked to me about the biff, so it must have been a bit of a sight if it was still discussed today. I might be totally wrong, but just because the crap surfer is punching on, doesn't mean he was in the wrong. Maybe the good surfer was giving him the ****s. I don't know though, I wasn't there.

Nah not really mate. Just smashed another board today on a real dry, rocky wave that was barely knee high near mettams that I always surf. I'd give anything to cop a few on the head and paddle through foam. Nah mate, it's tough here!

He wasnt in the wrong, in fact he was in the right until he started throwing punches. Funny thing at first I thought they were mucking around and then the shouting and then,,,,,,, BIFF!!

One of the funniest fights i ever saw was in the water. At Hillary's boat ramp two guys, one on each jetty yelling abuse at each other. Next thing they both jump in like long lost lovers and raced at each other wasite deep at a Blistering pace..They were both physically stuffed by the time they started swinging punches
