I know that there are quite a few companies out there selling affordable wetsuits and just wanted some feedback on the best one to buy. I want a 3/2 that is warm, comfortable and going to last a while. I've seen brands such as Arzen, Need etc. What is your recommendation? Thanks in advance. PS preferably back zip unless it is easy to get into a chest zip one
I've had a chest zip need for a couple of seasons. Comfortable, easy enough to get into. Not as warm as my last wetty but warm enough. This time of year a few stores should have clearances on steamers. Noticed Clearwater Halls Head had a 4 day 40% (might have even been 50%) off the other day. There was a few wetties there, but not sure on sizes (or when the sale ends)
These days the chest zips are so good , Mostly as it leaves the back panel one piece and i find more comfortable, better stretch and easier for paddling. They can be tricky to get in and out of but if you get the right fit and don't have any shoulder issues theirs no reason you'll have trouble.
Most of the shops are starting to have sales. Murray Smith Warehouse in Osy park is a great place to start also. Also obviously places like Surf stitch or Wetsuit warehouse online..
Me personally i love and use Xcel wetsuit 3/2 Infiniti..Normally manage to jag them on special for around $230 ish
I don't normally prop goods but Volte wetsuits are pretty reasonable and epic quality. They are westsuits reborn as a brand,,might spend 50 more or So than planning but guaranteed to get a few winters out of them for a pretty cheap price
Ctngoodvibes said.. Just got chest zip need can vouch for it would say similar quality to last O'Neil I had which is pretty darn good for 220. Go a need for sure
I got two years out of mine, leaks a bit now but still warm.
