We I have been here for 4days and the swell has been small
Managed to get few head hight ones on-the outer reefs
But the beaches I think we're the best around lunch time
Have not been up the bukit way to busy
By the way the trafic is a nightmare you spend more time driving than surfing
So if you see a nice a frame out the front ride that

There's so much more to Bali than just surfing
The crowds have killed the fun
How good are the Kuta parties these days

Bali is all about surfing, you can have your parties.
The traffic has killed Kuta.
I'm heading over soon and the only two days I will be anywhere near Kuta are the day I fly in and the day I fly out.

Hope your having fun Spot1, catch a couple for me.

School holiday's are on here so a heap of QLD ers will be over there right now hence more traffic than anyone can handle

Yep, I stayed well away from kuta and had plenty of surfs with less than 10 guys out. And when sets are bringing 4-6 good waves there's plenty to go around!

Monday swell still small but fun the trade winds have just kicked in so the outer reefs will be out
Looks like beaches again with 8 or so crew out

When you guys get sick of chasing small crowded waves I will see you at the bar
When it's on I will see you at dawn

just got back. best wavesvscrowds i scored was up the coast at Medewi. caangu, good but crowded, ulus was good to but very crowded.
I also learnt that the difference between a good tourist and a bad tourist is the good tourist has the sense and respect to leave at the end of his holiday.
A bad tourist stays and calls himself an expat...
