The Chinese Invasion and the Double Edged Sword
Ok come'on thats a farking sick title lol...I will have to expand on it on surferblogs.com later on when I get home with some pics n sh1t

Personal memory triggers to possibly expand upon, bananas, crab sounds, hello security, green/blue, lifetime PM, fins vs trucks = superglue, BS & more BS...
The Chinese have made a big impact on SE Asia & its pissing me off. While our government had simply given away our money & I mean you & mine. China has been making some serious inroads everywhere & we havn't seen farkall said till Scott Morrison recently mentioned hey maybe we should stop sending so much money to china & step them up into the hey your doing all right category. You might have missed it though coz he was with Trump & most mainstream media wanna go on about the BS Global weather change, formally known as Global warming before the science showed many parts of the world were actually cooling & those islnads up North were actually growing not sinking...but anyway I digress and I need another JW & coke, back in a tick...
Still reading, cheers bro/sis I don't like to give this sh1t away for free, gotta throw in some anti lefty inpolitically correct truth'isms to add some kinda balance

So what's all this BS about you ask, whats so special about the title

A few years back it was announced china was investing in a Balinese development to expand on Serangan Island. There was Eco opposition citing danger to the surrounding mangroves environment. Well this could well be old news to some of you coz it looks like its well underway. I could see the expansion yesterday driving down the toll road to Sanur where I'm staying for 12 days. They're dumping rocks & limestone sand/rubble to enlarge the island for a future gold course, a bit like that military zone they're creating off the coast of the Phillipines which used to just be reef.
The development has closed the road down to the main Serangan surfspot which was Plan A for me this morning & I couln't be farked with Plan B. So an alternative route involving 2 mangrove canal crossings I'm hoping my probiotics will cover me for & a long walk along limestone tracks dodging 2 sets of security payed off. Just as I was looking out at the waves thinking, ok that looks super fun a breeze kicks in, but I soon realized it was directly offshore & light maybe a few knts.
Scored some fun Head 1/2 long wally rights with 3 cutback & 3 racey sucky peaky sections running for about 150m on my own for 3hrs in a place that would usually have surf schools rocking up within the last hour before I bailed. Felt like a fully successful adventure right in the heart of Bali. Might hit Plan B tomorrow, dunno...cheers if ya made it this far
