Off to Bali in a week for a wedding.

Hanging around for a bit afterwards.

Wind forecast looks bad for the east coast, unfortunately, so it looks like west side it is.

Don't want to stay in Kuta, where I have usually based myself in the past.

Accommodation options are immense and varied!

Anyone have any cheap accommodation recommendations - either Bukit / Balangan or Canguu area?

bingin ombak warung is very nice $45 inc breaky... bit pricey but alot nicer than the other warungs... nice showers with warm water and timber bi folds to your own balcony, otherwise kelly warung or chockys place if your on more of a budget.. ive stayed in all they all good but you can see where your extra money goes at ombak... especially good if your taking - meeting lady friend!

also dont be scared of eastside i stayed over there in august and wind doesnt always get up... had some epic sessions at some unknown breaks and aso some fun ones at keremas... most days it was glassy until 11am... some days even alot later!! was costing me $18 dollars a day inc accomodation food and scooter will be going back there for sure!!
