I've spotted a nice looking ebay board. Want it. Problem! - Seller on East Coast, buyer on West.

Anyone had this problem? Dealt with it successfully without making the cheap board two very expensive objet d'art for Simondo? Tips please.

Got any mates who run there own business and deal with trusted courier on a regular basis? Thats what I did. My mate uses UPS all the time so has preferred rates. He just got the item picked up and delivered to his factory for me as if it was one of his pieces of stock. Cost next to nothing.

Only helpful if you have a mate in that position though I guess

Mates... I've heard of them... hang on while I have an ebay search for some of them too.

lol...yep I did some research before bidding on a firewire board earlier in the year. Best I found for Joe public was like $120. So I asked a friend if I could use his biz address which was then costing me $60...then missed out when someone bid in the last few seconds of the auction
