should be ok if you want better small wave performance 5'10 will be spot on. if you like to pump agressivley and you are really good a making speed on a small face i dont think you would have a problem with a 5'8.

oh and it all depends on how much you surf. if i were you i would lean towards the 5'10

90kg you could go either 5'8 or 5'10. The 5'8 is 29.3 litres according to CI. The 5'10 would be around 1-1.5L more.

I spoke to a rep for CI recently who was 80kg and rode 5'8 pod and 6'2 shortboard. You can call their Sydney office and speak to someone there if you want.

If you are in WA, Surf Sail in Leederville have a 5'10 on the rack you could have a look at.

hey Bene313,
"The 5'8 is 29.3 litres according to CI. The 5'10 would be around 1-1.5L more."

I recently emailed Ci surfboards and Onboard industries to find the volume on a 6'4 and 6'6 and got this response from CI surfboards "Unfortunately, we don't have volume info on the Pod at those lengths." no response from Onboard Industries.
Any chance you could point me in the right direction or contact info to get these volumes.

I used the email on the CI website to query the volumes in 5'4, 5'6 and 5'8. I don't know if they do a stock board as big as 6'4 and 6'6 so that might be why you couldn't get an answer.

I also had no luck with this query with Onboard.

Hmmm apparently they do a 6'4"

www.cisurfboards.com/surfboards/legacy-lineup/the-pod/

The shaping computer can tell you what the volume in any given board is. Don't know why they don't provide the info as it can be pretty important - eg a 5'4" POD still has more volume than my standard 6'1" shorty!
