G'day, i've got an old school board lying around at home that i want to get back in the water but it's only got one fin. Is it possible to get 2 more fins molded into the board?

Im with DL on this one! Aint nothing wrong with a little retro. If you want a Thruster go buy one. I would'nt waste ur time

In a nutshell, no. It depends on what you are using it for... For going straight, single fin boards are usually better at trimming and they go faster. ie: tube riding. For turning, thrusters are usually better.

Also, single fins have style.

As Kearnsy said, if you want a thruster, go get a board which was designed to have three fins. Don't wreck a piece of surfing history! www.surfresearch.com.au/mk.html
