Yes, I have one and nolonger use it, decided I didn't like it that much as it's too draggy, but it is very stabble and gives quite a possitive feel.

My theory on it is that if you have a board with a lot of tail lift or is very sensitive in the tail then the lift that the winged keel thing gives is great as it helps to balance some of that responsiveness. Only one way to find out though....ah that's right onshore and no swell, back to mind surfing through the lineup thread

Well , seeing as you have one in your possession, why don't you just try it? Then you will know for sure .

Mate had one on a 6'5" - he was quite happy with it - said it held well in sucky conditions...

Just bung it in and have a go (but take your FCS key in case you hate it).

I had one of those fins years ago, but I can't remember much about it, don't think it made any difference. But having said that, as you have seen in a recent post I probably wouldn't notice if the fin was in backwards

I've got the Indo fin version and i tried it and liked it. I found it gave me more speed and helped the board move rail to rail smoother. (having said that my board is a pig). They don't like duck diving and shallow sand though. Went back to the std middle fin again followed a week later with another winged fin and will definitely keep it in..
