Why is it that these boards are accepted as being the be all and end all of surfboard design ?
Yes... I've seen great surfers doing great things on them.
But there are inherint faults in the Thruster's design.
Every clone that goes ahead and follows the crowd should consider :
The tri fins are placed too far back leading to over pivoting on short arcs.
I hate that !!!
.... Never mind, get a grip deck so that you can grab the tail as it swings around to where YOU REALLY DON'T WANT IT.

My quad goes a shipload faster than any thruster I've ever surfed.

I just put a Quad set up in a board just need to paint it now. Thruster is just what some people like to ride.
