Lets share some photos. One of my favs was a beachie which surprisingly had hardly anyone out (it's normally really crowded) and I got probably the best wave I have ever caught in 20 years of surfing the joint. Didn't stop to take much of a photo (was taken with my phone) so photo doesn't really so justice.

This session at Telescopes in August was pretty good....plus I have had a quite a few all time sessions at home which has been great...nothing massive like last year but super clean and low crowds

A few waves in indo over the last coupla weeks....

The first session I had at the spot in the first image, I ended up getting a stand up barrel on my first wave, followed by a few more good barrels, followed by some underwater triplejump on the reef 1-2 ft below, which put me out of the water for a few days. Indo can be so perfect, but if a section does not line up properly you get hurt

The cuts and bruises are so worth it tho!!

Bingin mid oct!! my wife let me go again... was only home 20 days!!! low tide bingin was worth the cuts to surf it un crowded pity the swell didnt hang in there from the arvo i got there

I'm just greatfull I can still get waves close to home and uncrowded .

Saying that I did miss 70 something offshore mornings this year Fail Kearnsy FAIL

Had a nice session mid year at a northern reef break with about 5-6 guys unknowen to me, a bit onhore but the waves were just pumping through and everyone was getting great waves. Ive never seen that place so empty, one of the best sessions Ive had for ages

It certainly turned it on for some pretty epic sessions this winter didn't it! Had some all time sessions before and after work - was surfing almost every day there for a while, cant beat that IMHO.

I just blew my load !! Beautiful looking day out on the water - that is what dreams are made of.

Didn't take too many pics this year but scored a few good days. My usual wasn't as good as it has been the last few years but another wave made up for that. Had a classic day with Mocha there, long winding rights just begging to be belted. So nice to be able to do more than one turn on a wave. And it did it for weeks on end at times too.

I probably fared better through Summer/Autumn than I did through Winter due to a lack of free time, it was tough driving past smoking local beaches through Winter and not having the time to hit it. Definitely the best local winter in a looooonnnnggggggg time.

This was probably one of my highlights of the year, tiny long period swell, 8 hours travel time, clean head high tubes with a friendly crew and tits and arse car wash on the way home.





Mission accomplished.
