As I opened this I half expected Animals that would be SURFING ANIMALS

Mate its off tomorrow hoping for a big clean up and hit LM Sunday,its looked like a washing machine this week

after the last few days, i reckon this will light up and then disappoint.

drove past vikings and currumbin beach front a bit more then half tide. lots of water moving around and not much beach.

goldies beach have taken a hammering in the last month

the beach is overrated mate fk who hangs around on the sand these days,the walk from G to LM is good during summer

There was a dunny hanger crew at Cronulla too.

Yeah Chrispy it was the Beaurepairs. One there was a free surf under lights and it was 4-5 foot and the lights went out.carnage there were people everywhere that night to see surfing under lights.
I think Curren ended up winning it or it might have been Occy.

i was way young and trashed(cant remeber how old,maybe 14) but yeh throwing sand in the air and claiming people. was heaps of fun and mischief that night. my aunty wouldnt even let me in the house when i walked down the hill

It was at the 1984 Beaurepaires Surfing Open that night surfing was introduced. Thousands turned out on the Saturday night to see the worlds best under lights. The night was a huge success except the waves were non existent. It had a surreal atmosphere. Somebody told the top riders that footballers use boot polish under their eyes to minimise glare in night games. Here Tom Curren and Martin Potter go a little overboard with the war paint.
