Hi jasdeking are you lost haha.Welcome mate

Doggie, Vanders who must be working his butt off in his new job, board is 10.0 x 23 3/4 x 3 something.

I reckon the 9.6 x 23 x 3 would be hard work knee paddling jaskeking, why do you want a knee paddler?

At 6'2 and 90, you know deep down you are way over Jockey Weight, and probably shouldn't be knee paddling !!

About only guy I see knee paddle down here is Johnie from Glide Fins, and he's Jockey Size and Jockey Weight....

Generally speaking, upper middle weights (90kg) don't have supreme flexibility, and knee paddling is actually a bit uncomfortable. Plus your bum might get higher in the air, than a flexible light weight jockey, and your bum can put you off balance!

Don't mean to put you off knee paddling !!

But I would be thinking 10 x 23+ x 3+... Try some knee paddling on small SUP maybe.... to see if it is for you....

Prone Paddle Tips - engage your core, and increase your reach with each stroke, by getting your shoulders and stomach muscles entire paddle stroke.... gives you more power...

Just some thoughts.... Might not be telling you anything you don't already know....

Noosa you got to love that place,I was up there a few weeks ago and got talking to a sup'er female on a very short RH board pink with some checks, goofy I recall. Her partner is or was on this forum (sup )she can surf a sup well,I also mate friends with a younger guy on a green with some yellow circle spray going on.He was a knee paddler but he also has an issue with one arm, super good vibe up there, after a few years of not going up I was very impressed with the locals and you can't say that about a lot of road trips

You would probably want to go at least 10 feet, 24 'wide and 3 inches or more thick if you want to knee paddle it. Check your weight again. Many people underestimate their weight. Dont they ?....

Firstly if you aren't used to knee paddling - it's far#kin hard to do. I am a lightweight at 70kg and I cannot and never have been able to do it, no matter how big the board is, and yet I have mates who can knee paddle 9ft performance mals - go figure.
If you are intent on doing it then you will probably need around 10ft x 231/4 x 31/4 ish I reckon. If you are thinking about a custom that will allow you to knee paddle then let em know you intend to knee paddle it and ask for a deck patch to strengthen the kneeling area and even consider a bit of light deck grip to protect the board and your knees. If you are looking for a s/h board then consider a wider tuflite cos you will cause way less damage to the board.
IMO - knee paddling is way harder than it looks and doesnt really achieve anything. If its to give your back and neck a rest then you are better off prone paddling out quicker and having a longer rest.

Howdy fellas, yeah the redline is 10'x24x3-1/2" & strangely enough I have tried to knee paddle it, no problem just too hard on my dodgy knees & felt a bit unco in the transition from prone to knees.

Still undecided about whether I want to sell it, I'm sure they'll be days when it'll come in handy????

Thinking of taking it out for a paddle on Friday to help make the decision.

I had a crack at knee paddling a Robert August 9 6 and was hopeless and am only 75kg.
When I went to Noosa last year there was a guy on a timber board doing it well. He was tall, but whippet thin and looked as flexible as an Indian Yogi.

10.6 PSH wide sup,if you cant knee paddle this tanker, probably best to seek another
hobby, lawn bowls, knitting or if your a really old bald fat bugger try stand up paddle boarding, seems to be the in thing at retirement homes.
The new form of transport around these retirement villages are the land form, called street stand up paddle stick or otherwise known as wankers with sticks.
Have a nice day, theres a new widow moving in next door at my village and shes hot, might hit her up for bingo night next week.
