Ok

If you have a full quiver already and have a fistful of $ you wanna spend on a beautiful looking classic single fin that you can take out and surf on fun days and just be happy that its a lovely 70s feeling, groovy kinda board - then you will probably like the board a lot.
If however you arent rolling in $ and you want a practical and fun and value for money board that you will love everytime you ride it I would strongly suggest you get an Eightball - any length from 7.2 to 8.2. I reckon an 8ball with a nice classic spray and a lovely handmade wizz single fin would blow you away performance wise and be every bit as stunning a board to look at as a tracker. If you are attracted to the slightly pointier profile of the tracker then a G2 single fin would be my choice.
I guess it comes down to what you wanna do with it mate.
Allround fun - 8ball handsdown
Allround with an emphasis on more serious waves - G2.

Oh dont listen to the horseshlt you are gunna be fed about ufo's uf8s blah blah blah - the 8ball and G2 are far superior board shapes IMO.

i have spoken to a dozen blokes who ride the tracker and they say its like riding a longboard....dont expect to do on the tracker what you do on ur regular everyday short board. Alot of the guys who ride them demo'ed the one they have at Mct and i think its over the 7ft mark (i think there is 2 7'1 and 7'5) and they all say its way to big and cut it right down. I think its more the enjoyment of long drawn out turns and nice long cut backs and nothing to radical about it, plus the speed factor

My brother rides a 7'6 and loves it. He bought it take to Bali - has just spent a month there and can't stop raving about how well it went/

He's 42 and been riding longboards since he was 12. Occasionally over the years he has ridden single fins.

Size wise he's 5'11 and about 85kg.

not really. i love the new one i have even more. yet i loved the 8ball and agree completely with bb. i found the 8ball to be a very forgiving board and a heap of fun to ride. i make some stupid mistakes on the new one that i would not have made on the 8. yet the payoff is tenfold when it comes together on the clearwater

You only have to watch footage of crew surfing the Tracker remakes to know they work.

But I actually don't have one, however, you need to know that they are a single fin, with some rounder rails, but you also get a decent amount of foam to help them paddle...

A 7'6 Tracker will be great if you like to surf a little smooth and old school.
A 7'6 Bobsled (quad) would be suited to new school, tighter turns, slightly more vertical surfing...

For me, I think I might order a Tracker!!
