well this is a subject that comes up a lot in the longboard room and other rooms on sea breeze.
it seems to cause a lot of arguments to the point that members leave the breeze because
their feelings have been hurt.
lately this room has been heated to the point that things have gone pear shaped very quickly.

so what do we do

myself I'm not that obsessed with one brand,i change my brands...Boards.. cars..tools..ect.ect. brand chanting is
a manufacturers dream and it happens here a lot for whatever reasons, love ,company association,the product,
image ect ect.

truthfully its like watching red necks at Bathurst chanting Holden falcon in here sometimes.

Doesn't worry me. If someone likes a product/brand and they want to share that with other surfers then let them share. We are (mainly) here to share a love of longboarding (etc), the stuff we use is part of that.

I dont want a FARKN green or red thumb.
i want your opinions on this subject that causes so much sh!t in this room.

I don't care what brand of board any one rides i'd like to try all the brands but obviously can't afford to buy 1 of each but if someone asks me what i'm riding at the moment i will say,having said that the next week i could be on something else,variety is the spice of life.Imagine if marriages went for 3 years with an option to continue or not

Nice post weiry and wavelength. I agree with wavelength, this is the reason I signed up on here. To discuss longboarding and equipment. But, pushing one brand to the top all the time and talking other brands down can and does get annoying.

I know I have already done it several times, trying to be a good sponsor prospect obviously. Apologies if this has annoyed people!

I just enjoy having a chat to everyone else who loves our side of surfing!

Meh,some get a bit precious, delusional,lose all mindset of common sense,butthurt, and only think and answer through emotion not what is right or wrong....some get so paranoid that they believe a person's answer could stop lurkers from posting,that it will force them to keep lurking....another funny one is when you peeps give advice about a pimped board and you know credibility is lacking......now I must ring SDR and make sure my rails a fine on the new one

Well I bought a 5 fin asher pacey setup from SHAPERS today and they are ****in amazing fin's

Did you get the instruction sheet so you don't put them in backwards.
