Yep, must be the same all the way up and down the coast, and it's piss'n down.

Found some info on a knee surgeon for a mate up in woopi so I sent that to him.

Actually, that's semi surf related and this thread has no real topic so how's about I talk about that Just to waste another 10 minutes before I hit the fart sack.

Okay, so this morning my mate calls and happens to mention that he needs a knee operation because they're rooted from him being a tiler, no wonder.

Later on in the day I'm reading a thread over in Jam longboards about how Bob reckons he got a good Knee op from some surgeon up on the goldy.

There is surf up here,I just timed it wrong,it was dead low
and I mean low,it seemed to have a little east meets south
swell direction and the one bank that was working was over
loaded and breaking in knee deep water and after injuring
my knee up Noosa (same knee buggered at that party a year
ago) and my back hinting it wants to part ways again I decided
to give it a miss and revisit tomorrow.

Notice Bob was on The Original. I still rate The Original, over The Fireball, as an All Rounder. Sounds harsh on The Fireball. But I think The Original is a better board in punchy beach breaks, and in larger surf, with the rounded pin. Sure, the FB will be better in general small point waves, and will be a better nose rider... But The Original gets by OK in those conditions too. So my vote still sits with The Original !!
