Body board has crossed my my mind as Im getting hammered in the beachies and the knobs a're getting tubed outta their brains.
Body Surf with a hand plane is all time fun
I am looking at buying a wind.surfer atm. Those blokes look like they are killing all the time.

Answers:-
Stand up paddle - ****e yes.
Kite surf - too scary.
Sail board - only a couple of times.
Knee board - years of tube riding at Cronulla Point kneeboarding heaven.
Boogie board - never.
Short board - oh yeah, in between original mals and new era longboards.
Tow board - too fast and needs to be too big for this old fella.
Surf ski - I am not a goat.

I hope that was decent enough.

I have kited for about 4 yrs now and used to paddle board all the time, until I discovered long boarding. I have completely given up SUP now- it's such a fun sport but nothing beats paddling onto a wave and standing up! Best feeling ever!

SUP. Had one 3 years and good value. Sunset paddles with the missus and good on really full waves. Tend to end up back on the Mal if it walls up.

KITE. Been kiting 4 years and love it. Safe if you stick to the fundamental rules and don't get complacent. Relatively cheap at entry level.

SAILBOARD. 20+ years in waves and bump+ jump. Great fun. Gear getting hideously expensive and second hand stuff hit and miss. Only sail now in 25-30 knots plus when its too windy for safe kiting. Sh!t happens real quick in strong wind with kites.

KNEEBOARDING. My knees don't like it. Mate who does it hates getting called the Groveler.

BOOGIE BOARD. Sometimes in big sucky waves, or playing with the kids.

SHORTBOARD. Gave it up a 15 years ago after getting totally hammered in a 3 wave hold down. Got back into it last year when living on the east coast because its easier to get out in beach breaks than the Mal.

TOW IN. Awesome fun. I reckon people who do it around paddle surfers are pr!cks.

SURF SKI. Never. Good for goats.
