I surfed my way from Boiling pot to first point. Caught a bomb out the back of First point and came through the crowd scattering out of the way. Thought that was pretty damn good and paddled back out for another one.
It was only then that I saw competitors with contest rashies on.
What a day to have a contest.

I went to Tea Tree's there a few years back and there was aparantly a guy that would hog all the waves and shout abuse at other boarders. Has he ever been caught and charged? I hope so. That place is the best surf spot I've ever been in. I just hope Noosa overall has chilled out and less and less agro in the water.

Legropes are a pain and dangerous. A good surfer can ride without a leggy

The case on that Saturday was it had a normal crowd with a contest on in the midst of it rather than just 4 competitors out in an empty line up.
If you're competing chances are you're going to push the limits to gain maximum points which may result in the odd stray board through the line up.

No leggy is certainly dangerous for others in the water, and what about the poor little kid that cops it in the shorey?

If there is no one around go for it but if it is crowded and you don't wear a leggie you are douche.
