That's why I bought a Kyrpt MT5 surfmat today. Wanted one for years. Dropped in to see MC and Toshie (MC surf designs - yep, that's them just around from Uncle Bob's) and Toshie gave me a deal I couldn't pass up. Hilarity will now ensue.
Surfmats are not easy to ride. Took it for a test run this morning as it seemed to be pretty small. Got some waves, paddled around and tried duckdiving it which is easier said than done. The feeling is totally unique running across chop. Some decent waves started coming through so I went and got my 6'6" and lying down to paddle out the deck felt incredibly hard after cruising around on a nice cushey bag of air.
