Brand new to the sight - hello everyone .... Having a red right now thinking of the last two days. Bituman's south of Perth has thrown up some reasonable ones making my weekend a little bit special .
Went out with my mate Rune on friday and his posting about double figures is fair dinkum - he had a ball and so did I. Went out with Steve on Sat with alot more crew but caught plenty (doubles figures too) two and a half hours out and there were no arms left - enjoyed the banter in the water with a good crew, hello Tony, Pete and his missus ( I think Cath). Oh and the seven foot shark that was apparently out with us!

I'm interested to know your opinions - do you count your waves? - and if so what's the criteria, I know it's gonna depend on conditions relative to the break. What do people in our league consider to be a score? Thought it might be an interesting topic.....

you know me, any wave onto your feet counts, but only if its been a dismal day. When your having a good one, only the good waves count.

mac i reckon we'd get more talking done than surfing, however that remains to be seen as we've never surfed at the same place the same time, by the way if your short on cash i will pay your way in the maili masters if you like.

i suppose your too young mac to surf with us old farts , but i will be going to morrow.Geez you lucky bugger mac getting all those waves, but i seem to come across a few blokes surfing your area who like to chat a liittle i normally get a wave and paddle a distance away when i get back out.The fitness isn't too good at present so a chat in between might speed the recovery.I wonder if BB was out there on his new rig.

At this stage I am dropping the Fireball for the UFO,once I am happy with the UFO I will them replace the Fireball.

The Razar is a great board but lacks rocker, yesterday was a little lumpy and I did catch the rail towards the nose,a little more rocker would have made the difference.
I think the UFO will be a more suited board for most conditions unlike the Razar.Them I guess do you really need a Fireball in the quiver
