My 28 yo daughter and her boyfriend came over for dinner and she mentioned that she would like to try surfing over the Xmas break but she was worried that she could never do it because her sense of balance was so bad.
I said, okay, lets see how bad it is and bought out the balance board so she could have a go. I could tell straight away that her balance was no worse than anyone else and I told her that all she really needs to learn is how to paddle and pop up.
She asked what a pop up was so rather than explain it, I took the fin and the wax off the Arrow and set it up on the 4 inch foam.
She did pretty good, very quickly, she learn that she was a goofy footer, and not to grab the rails when standing, she learnt to centre herself and to never lock her knees (wished I could learn some of this fkn stuff

).
Then she wanted to know why she had to move around on the board because whenever she sees people surfing, they stand in the one place. So I explained the difference between a longboard and a short board and showed her how you turn and hang 5 or hang ten and try to do some style'n with your body and arms.
And then I said and you can crouch down or even do a cheat'n five like this, and proceeded to demonstrate it as best I could.
As soon as I did it she immediately goes "ooooohhhh !!!! that's a
Slut Drop, I can do that".

We all pissed ourselves,

I've heard of the expression before, in relation to a dance floor move, but I never made the connection with surfing.
I don't think I'll ever again be able to look at someone crouching on a board and not think "Slut Drop"
