okay, so now i am ready to buy a new board. I have been surfing for 2 1/2 years, mainly in Wesernport and at Flinders, surfing a second hand 9'1" mal 2 or 3 times a week, I weigh around the 90 and are pretty keen. I'm looking at a Thai Fireball 9'6" SLX. What do you reckon? Any advice would be great.

Cheers Ted, I've read that forum before thanks. If the funds weren't unlimited you'd go straight to the Aus made boards! I'm more thinking of what board will get me through the next few years and enjoy as much as I can the typical conditions we get around here. I used a mates board the same for a couple of weeks earlier this Autumn and i really liked it. Are there other models that would suit better,or is the fireball it?

really if you are looking at something for a couple of years,that will not last. they are cheap for a reason. some good second hand deals around, a bloke scored big time of me last week and im still spewing
