my hp cw wasn't really doing it for me so i dropped in on sdr for chat. told him about my board , what worked for me, what didn't and showed him the dp, that's deep purple pup.

i told him my idea for a board -8' out of a shortboard fun shape with a flatish rocker but a curvy outline to blend with the rocker.

he had a 6' board he was thinking of blowing up so on the pc we went and a 8' x 21.5 was born. some adjustments to rocker and outline - 51 lts.


sdr pretty much wants to get onto this one he said. looks like its going to be a board for himself too.


im not comp surfing mals or anything so why not

ahhhhhhh the minimal revolution is gaining momentum around the land not just on the Goldie ..... the M8 Goddard is delicious & able to be tweaked easily for all riders , SDR / CW has cottoned on to the caper it seems now .... will Uncle Bob slink towards this renaissance Lacey ......mmmmmmmm puuuuuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrple

Well best of luck with this one LL - lets hope it works well for ya. I dropped down the beach this morning to catch up with a few of the old boys who are here for the big surf comp - shame there is no waves. Should have had my camera as there were some lovely looking boards - might do this tom. Anyway found a board that had 6 fins !! The bloke who shaped it said that he has always liked the Campbell Brothers Bonzers so its really just an extension of that combined with the Quad concept. Interesting

drag ted, gee its just manageable on quads. reckon the board will be sweet as. its about shaping the boards i like and with the log, hp and the dp i took with me, the type of shortboards i used to ride, we are getting a profile i what works for me

Nar' its not. Been developed for a short board. I think we did 'ghost' that bee string over it at one stage but nothing was used from it
