Still here. Been breaking in the new mal in some very tiny waves for the past week and preparing for an attack on arra 2moro for a few days and have also bought a new sup Pretty satisfied with the quiver at the moment.

Reckon B/B will be beautiful and maybe 2ft at best (wishful thinking maybe).
Wouldnt say I had the mal wired though just yet. Have had one day out at caba backbeach in some mid sized chunky stuff and had all sorta problems stopping it sliding and bouncing but first surf on a new board in those kinda waves was always gunna be tricky. Have had a few earlys at maccas and with a fin change and some patience i reckon I am now ready again for some real surf on it. Tell ya what though - I am no noserider but this thing makes it so damn easy. I just walked straight up the front the other morning - 10 over hit a tiny little speed hump and it all went pear shaped - now I know why I dont noseride - its kinda like barefoot skiing I reckon - when things go wrong it happens fast and big
As for noosa - we are gunna go up for a surf and thought we may as well hang around on the saturday and try some boards out. Think there may be some surfing breezers who also sup who will be there so hopefully catch them up. AND OF COURSE THE HIGHLIGHT - MEETING BOARDER PAUL. Definately gunna buy that man a beer. Have also heard tha Makaha may be up there for the weekend so will be good to catch up with the big fella for a few waves.

HMM meeting Boarder Paul and Makaha now your talking,set up the ring and bring some gloves as mac and makaha have to sort a couple of issues out

But meeting PB would be well worth the drive for sure.
Could be a friday job and make the most out of it

Thanks Lfish. my mate has been raving about mulla for nearly a week now so hopefully the northerly doesn't get down that far and bugger it. How are the banks at woopi ?

Mac - we aim to get up to noosa mid morning friday and hopefully score a fun little wave at main beach/first P. If the surf is nice we may not even make the demo but will play it by ear. I have actually never surfed (real surfing) noosa so looking forward to getting out there and amongst a few. Hopefully its only small so my missus will have a go as well. We really enjoy it up there and love breaky at noosaville overlooking the river - very special place.

BB I've pulled the pin on the B Bay trip the northerly have kicked in which always happens when I want to head down there,god dam it I have not had a good surf there for years

So I will look at the Noosa trip as the wife loves it up there

Cant remember the name of the hotel, its a funny name, I just did a branch transfer so I got to keep my holidays Yea I will take the camera, but its hard over there when shootong pics Im always paranoid about my box brownie going missing will try a get some pics tho........ only 10 days to go now

A good friend who works in the travel game recommended that hotel and she is an expert on Bali,may have to check that one out next trip.
I've just received our new shipment from Indo and if it takes off we will have to make a trip soon,so we dont run out before xmas

Ironic - cos we have pulled the pin on the noosa trip. Had a great offer to head back to "A"land for a few days of r&r. We have just had three days of the most beautiful glassy - albeit it only small beach break surf I have had in a long long time. Max crowd was 3 (that was us in total) and even the missus surfed a beachy yesterday for over an hour and thats something she never ever does. Also had one of the star qld sup team spend the night last night on her way to Port M and shared a few waves with her this morning - well as much as you can share waves with a wave hogging and snaking stand up paddler Awesome few days and cant wait to get down there again.

Sorry Lfish - not what you wanted to hear but I did manages a couple of really nice lefts for you this morning at Mulla if that makes you feel any better.
