hoping someone can help out here with what airline takes 9ft boards from Denpasar to lakey so far have been told only a 6.8 max with the first quote but I know guys take longboards there.

Air Asia.have you given them a call?

I believe that flights into Bima only allow a 6'7" and if you have a longer board you normally sort it out with the place you are staying and they try to arrange overland transport for ya a day or two before. Not been there myself with a longer board so have no first hand experience.
