it's a bit quite in here today

well big day yesterday. training, quick surf with the lm crew. then a dw with shieldesy.

pretty stuffed after that.

slow start today. borrowed the new fanatic 12'6 x 24.75 and did some in's and out at a rough onshore alley. really good fun with the bumps taking me right into the carpark area. it is narrow but pretty stable, but you have to use your core ab's and suck um up. only for experienced paddlers the 24.75 wide one- very good tho. one of the reasons for getting the big mal for me is to practise the ab action.

give it back then took out the gl to compare. gl pierces through waves better but not as fast. however the gl loses nothing in the wave/bump riding caper and is smoother and surfs better. still might sweat on a second hand fanatic for those calmer days when more paddling is required.

home for lunch, sleep and afternoon run.

another weekend bites the dust

a song for mac,vanders and 12'6x 30" fanatics

All the very best for the young fella mate, he'll get plenty of female sympathy so that's something for him to look forward to.

Thoughts for a fast recovery.
