Ahhhh, well I may be a little one sided but a rundown......
If you re after an all rounder, get something else, Some guys want to surf a longboard like a short- board (Why??

) and others want something a little more traditional so when it comes to all rounder ...what do we mean?
The Involvement is a hell of a lot more than a "Wall Hanger" but its epic outline and finishing would look awesome and mine in between surfs does occupy a shrine like presence in our lounge room along with the other favorites from the quiver....but I digress.
The involvement has a lot less volume per foot in most cases and enjoys a very pinched rail accompanied by a very slight rocker and a significant kick in the tail, great bottom contours with a very slight concave in the nose which has a lot less area than most longboards. All this together make for a board that is less than straight forward to ride, if your a beginner or new to longboarding you should stick clear of it.
Contrary to what some may suggest its quite a lively and responsive board that works particularly well in hollow waves...once you get the hang of it, its not ideal for nose riding but if you can...it will, but its a lot more dependent on your ability and positioning,so I find myself on the nose a lot less than I would on something else, however I find I get to surf this in more conditions than anything else. Its a trim machine, that once you've mastered its idiosyncrasies, provides some great rail action and there's distinct schizophrenic qualities with the change of a fin to either enhance its performance qualities or to improve it's nose riding capacity, both improved with fin selection specifically for task however hard pressed to find a perfect all-rounder fin to get best of both worlds.
So its far from an all rounder but if you want a traditional style longboard and will ride it that way, its one of the most lively trad logs I think you'll come by but will take a few surfs to get the hang of it, once you have you wont look back.
