They are the best allround longboard ever made. They will cruise all day in ankle high slop and attack overhead bombs the next day - and make a meal of everything in between. A pure joy to surf no matter what the wave or skill level.

Performance noserider probably sums it up.There's a clip on you tube of a guy riding one in pretty meaty Hawaiian surf. I've had a go on a tuff lite In ThePink and it rode pretty good . Big wide nose on it with a sawn off square tail with tucked rails around the tail. All up it would be a pretty good all rounder and more so if you want to nose ride. Also expensive either in glass or tuff lite. They come with a 2+1 fin set up.

I hired one on HI and it sucked or wait I sucked due to the lack of volume for this chunky type guy

Fireball is on sale

Nope imo ITP is a better nose rider and the FB is a better all rounder.

Flame suite zipped and super glued[}:)] So you can't touch this

Firstly the fins - the stock standard fins are fine - which should be (depending on the size you get) something like GX sides and a 7.5 to 8.8 Takayama centre.

Secondly - the ITP is a far superior noserider to the Fireball and a much much better performance board in average surf.

In my opinion if you were going to be surfing mostly waves shoulder high and bigger or particulary sucky waves then I would choose a fireball - but if you mainly surf knee high to shoulder high waves and want to really throw the board around then the ITP is far superior IMO of course.

When I rode an ITP it was the easiest board to turn and throw around in small waves that I have ever ridden and when I rode a fireball it was one of the best boards I have ridden in big surf and the first surfboard I ever got barreled on.

If I rode longboards still and had to have only one board then it would be a choice between the FB (actually a liberator) and an ITP.
