i remember last August ( back on the toes thing ) i borrowed a board from Dane wilson he had for sale , was looking to buy it... was a g&s 5 stinger volane beautiful board... heavy as
it had the black tape across the nose as he had used it in some comps recently
so if its good enough for Dane its good enough for the rules... time measured in front of the black tape line was the yard stick
was a bit embarrassing that day as people looked at the board and expected something from me ... they got nuthing 
ahhh ok - so the comp was on time spent with toes over the line.
