They are massive inside! I had a VT wagon. Not sure about the 12 tho, never tried it

I did fill it with about 30 shortboards and mini mals once, was amazed they all went in

They are good for a big fella like you as well as the front seat goes miles back. Im 6.0 tall and the seat had loads of adjustment.

Good thing about that model was that it had roof rack fittings ready to go so you just needed the cross bars.

Hope that helps

Been a few years now but had a few of them, great cars, they are cavernous inside, with the back seats down I could get a sheet of ply 2.1x 1.2 in with room to spare, I reckon you would get a 3.0 m board in easily, not sure about 11ft er though.. Funny thing, I have had the tape measure out on occasion in used car lots measuring to see if the boards would fit before I made my mind up about the car, says something about the priorities...

I used to get a 9'1 in my old 85 Mazda 323 Hatch.... front passenger seat slid as far forward as it goes then the headrest off and the seat tipped back. Back seats tipped down.... the board would sit flat with its nose right under the glove box and it's fin (with a rashie/T shirt on it) near the hatch glass.
So - the Holden's got to be worth a crack. There must be one in every local surf car park... I reckon just ask one of the owners if you can give it a burl.
Happy hunting.

Yep, I used to fit a 10' 666 into my old one no issues. The nose was on the dash though.

Yeah, I can get 9'6 Longboards into by Subaru Forrester ('10 model). So 10'0 into a Commodore, no sweat... Sounds like you would need to take an 11'0 foot board along for a test drive, to see if you can get/jam it in!!
