I have one of these, so I know how it rides, but its the only longboard I have ever ridden, so not sure how it compares to typical PU long board, say mctavish or SDR.
I like the firewire LB,...it gets this thing where if you hit the sweet spot of the wave it just glides so fast, but I guess thats just a longbaord thing.

Anyone got any comments that has ridden both?

Too HP and for the lighter peoples of the world imo. Too much rocker and if its not a glass board I'm not riding it,I hate plastic boards.just my 2 cents worth sorry mum

Get a SDR keep it local.

I believe he still has a store your way,he ships boards to WA weekly

Of course I am but I dont want to jam it up everybody all the time,if you have a connection with Steve go with SDR,I would.

I know when I first got my PU LB it felt so heavy until I learnt to ride it & discovered its sweet spots. I'd love to try one of the firewire LB's or any nicely shaped "light" LB

envious asea - things not flash down here at the moment but we just had a 20 day run of good waves so hards to complain........

I would like to have a crack on a firewire LB as I love my firewire shortie....but I do like the weight of my long board - seems to suit what I want out of it....one day I will scam a ride on a HP LB and then who knows where it will lead me
