Yes I've done it again by ordering a fireball square tail same dims as my Pinnacle

Same rocker perhaps the FB has slightly more nose rocker just a tab,surfed it on the
weekend board felt sluggish on turns,I'll play with fin set up but dam another one might
bite the dust,oh the Pinnacle is staying.

Might have just been the waves and the fact you had not had enough sleep the night before. No need to blame the tools this early in the relationship. Always look for other excuses first then if they start running out go back to the tools. I find even changing the wax can help sometimes

I know the feeling I have some overlap in my quiver also from my 2 newest boards. Not sure if I should sell one or just keep it as a spare. I'm probably going to sell the Al Merrick & keep the HS Psycheldic Germ. Its one of the best boards I've ever ridden

pup as I look up the Asea,I spotted him wearing a pair at Byron some time ago and figured I could look way cool like him but sadly I failed,don't worry all the boat shoes have seen better days and have been binned.
