It may not be everyones idea of "cool" but for me, just knowing that there is actually a name "Vocal Fry' for this incredibly annoying speech pattern used by young and sometimes not so would ladies, in order to sound world weary, pleases me greatly

For hearing impaired, these ladies don't sound world weary or highly intelligent, they just sound like a bunch of ignorant morons more concerned with a trend than effective communications.
