Just had a mate email me a buttons clip and a story attached under it. Buttons has lung cancer and are trying to raise money for him.

Who hit rock bottom. Then seemed to sort his **** out. I liked the bloke and have enjoyed reading some good interviews with him. Sort of spun me out.

I met Buttons in Noosa some years ago during the Noosa Fest,I got chatting to him out the front of Noosa longboards a few hours later we ended up sitting at the next table for dinner,he moved a chair and said pull your table over here,super cool humble guy.

He was one of my favourite surfers growing up I scored a buttons sticker and had it on my favourite fireball for a long time.
