I am curious

On some days I love getting out for the old body bash but if the waves are hollow I can get a lot of travel time going left but cant go right for s---

is this a right handed versus left handed thing.

I don't favor either side. I guess if you can swim freestyle, you can use either arm for body surfing.

hey mate i find the same. i use my left arm/hand as my outstretched or surfing arm as my right arm is stronger
i can sit higher up in the pocket going left as my surfing arm and body then becomes like a big rail. going right is opposite so i find that i have to surf lower in the wave and adjust more. yet i can do more tricks going right because i can get more leverage and twist. left i can go for some mean long deep close outs. just my experience

Chrispy

Are you left handed or right handed
natural or goofy

I am right handed / natural footer

If I am going right I can get across the face but I am a lot lower on the wave.

I grew up surfing a left which in summer by 6 am you were kicked out so many hours spent body surfing it so never sure if it was just what I had got used to.
