Chrispy - travel board bags are generally a lot thicker - 10mm as opposed to 5mm - for more protection - is the general rule of thumb...but I think a good fit is just as important and always wrap a towel around the rails when travelling as your board normally gets thrown and dragged on them at the airport. If you cruise into a shop that stocks both the travel and normal bags you will notice the difference very easily. The last 3 yrs I have just been using the little creatures 1+2 and are more than happy with it. Its had a lot of use, zip still works a treat and its survived many an airport baggage handler. I recently brought a second one for my round nosed beast as well. Bit more expensive than yr standards but you can stick two boards in when ever you want.
