I've seen a 5m swell on the Taranaki Coast.
That forecast isn't the greatest with SW & W then NW.
Really want SW, SE wind direction and need a good 4/3 wetsuit.

That coast is awesome for Windsurf wave riding for the standard 3m swell with so many reef breaks.
I saw the light and started surfing there on the light wind days
But in winter and spring take your snowboard as well as Mt Taranaki top tow has big steep natural half pipes.
No groomers so either fresh snow or slush

I got 2 mins in, couldn't understand the guy and didn't see any big wave surfing so tuned out,did I miss anything?

Was just the forcast.
Piha, on Aucklands west coast were rumour of WSL QS will be a giant washing machine.
