well it was new years day with the biggest swell of the year

so this guy decides to try surfing his bed... really ?

we just took pics and laughed .. i say he is a legend ( it wasnt chrispy i checked )

that is absolute GOLD jase - wow those waves look really nice & hope you managed to get a couple after your drama a couple of days ago too brother

he's having a blast that Dude good on him I reckon

scotty i used to love the place(very short stays)now i am there all the time,well my good memories have faded fast. amazing place is coolum,the people are all super cool and happy

Noosa Bar is often good for fun waves that go a long way for a beach break. That way fat kooks like me can jump at a wave and feel like we are nearly surfing.

From where you are, the drive wouldn't seem worth it, but if you are half way there, and 7am on a summers day, sitting on a board our back with occasional 3ft sets, and no sweep. Kinda hard to beat for me.

Love the grilled coral trout at the Red Emperor, in Noosa.

But then again I had some very good grilled Snapper down at Cooly a few weeks ago, "Just Fish'n Chips.

Ha ha where on earth was he sitting??? I can never find a wave that empty at noosa.......particularly last week........
