Hi all, I have been surfing a 9'1" board for a couple of years now, locally made in Bittern and probably average 3 surfs a week around Westernport/Flinders. A mate leant me a 9'6" Mctavish which I have used for a couple of weeks, and I have found it unreal and don't wanna give it back (joking but kind of serious!) It is a Thailand made board from Surf Industries I think. Is this a real Mctavish? Should I get one of these boards at the right price, I think around $700?

Ok as the two fine strapping gentlemen above pointed out I don't mind the McTavish boards however,I am not a fan of the GSI Thailand pop out boards.I like the feel of glass boards and not plastic.
If it works for you, as they do work for many others go for it,the above is just io.

906 x ?? v's 901 x ?? this could answer your question, more volume maybe

and in the words of Gerry Harvey,if your not buying Australian Made WHY NOT!

Top of the morning TB hope that weather is blowing east mate.

This is a glass board, a 9'6" Fireball. The extra volume really helps, I can paddle much quicker and even sneak waves from the SUP gang.
